- Welcome to AMMDI, my site of miscellaneous networked writing, aka Second Brain, Digital Garden, Personal Wiki, whatever you want to call it. It's an ongoing experiment. I started it in Dec 2020, and it has evolved as my interests have shifted.
- Some entry points:
- Agency Made Me Do It is the original ostensible main topic, generalized musings on the topic of agency, and especially its application to computation.
- LWMap I wrote a series of reviews on some texts from the Rationalism community, where I am a semi-friendly critic. Lots of my writing on agency can be seen as an attempt to do better in this regard
- I became a fan of the Weird Studies podcast, and have taken notes on various episodes and related materials. They tend to go too far in the opposite direction of Rationalism, and I follow them to the extent I can.
- hack influence paper are starting to be a sort of portfolio / resume site for my more technical and academic work.
- Lots of scattered thoughts about the late Marvin Minsky, and Introduction to Inventive Minds which actually appeared in a book.
